Kristen Margeson joined Atlas Venture in 2015 to lead the firm’s investor relations and marketing efforts.

Prior to joining Atlas, Kristen was a senior research associate on the U.S. venture capital research team at Cambridge Associates. In that role Kristen monitored and performed due diligence on U.S. venture capital funds, and analyzed various trends within the venture capital industry. Kristen focused much of her efforts on the healthcare sector, developing a keen interest and belief in the life sciences venture space. Prior to Cambridge Associates, Kristen was a client services professional with investment advisory firm Partners Capital Investment Group. Kristen started her career as a financial planning associate with investment advisory firm New England Private Wealth Advisors.

Kristen received a BS in economics and mathematics from Simmons College, where she graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Alumnae Honor Award for scholarship and contributions to the college’s community. Kristen volunteers with Youth CITIES and Promising Pals, and previously served on the steering committee of the New England Venture Network. Kristen spends her free time playing with her dog, running, and attempting to revive her tennis game.
