Vito is CSO at TRIANA Biomedicines. Vito brings over twenty years of scientific leadership and experience advancing first-in-class therapeutic programs, and a successful track record of building drug discovery and development organizations. Previously, he was CSO at Surface Oncology and EVP and CSO at Infinity Pharmaceuticals. Before that, he was Director of Molecular Biology and Protein Chemistry at Syntonix Pharmaceuticals, Senior Director of Cell and Molecular Biology at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, and also held a number of positions at LeukoSite and ProScript. Vito was involved in the discovery and development of bortezomib (Velcade®), a proteasome inhibitor for cancer therapy. Vito earned his B.S. from Rutgers University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the New York University Medical Center.
